Along Came a Spider - Valley of The Hollow

A pocket sized, cranking, top down adventure. A year on from his daring exploits our plucky spider hero, Eric Nid, finds himself in a strange new world beneath The Hollow Tree. Waking in an all but abandoned village, Eric learns that a great darkness was sealed away behind a cave there many moons ago and the key to the lock split amongst the ant, hornet and woodlouse tribes that reside in The Valley of The Hollow. Fearing the darkness might reemerge, the spiders of the village recently set out to retrieve the pieces - but they haven't returned. And to make matters worse, mysterious spiders with lifeless eyes have appeared, intent on retrieving the pieces first and wreaking havoc in their wake. All alone, and with a dangerous land before him, will Eric be able to retrieve the key and stop the threat that promises to tear The Valley apart?

- Explore an overworld packed with enemies and secrets and overcome its dungeons in any order you like, discovering exciting powerups to help you conquer your surroundings.

- Wield the Playdate's crank in various fun and unique ways throughout your adventure, including the web climbing challenges from Along Came a Spider.

- Choose whether or not to take on various side quests to aid the denizens of The Valley, unlocking different endings should you accept the challenge - with 4 conclusions to Eric's tale available. 

- Three save files available, letting you share the adventure with your friends or family or mix up how you choose to tackle this brand new Playdate escapade.

Designed for Playdate and made using Pulp, this game takes about 2-3 hours to complete and a little longer if you want to find all of its secrets.
